The New Boy at Lotus
It's all change at the top. After four years at Lotus, Chief Executive
Chris Knight is retiring to be replaced by Terry Playle as Chief Executive
Officer.

Playle has worked at Lotus for over four years, the last two as a
non-executive director advising on business planning, corporate strategy
and company structure. He has a long and diverse career setting up and
chairing many companies in both the technology sector and the City.

Commenting on his new role, the 68 year-old said: "Over the last few years, I have worked as an adviser to Lotus on business and corporate issues. In my previous non-executive position on the Lotus board, I have seen the company grow and develop and I am keen to ensure that this success over the last few years is maintained and we retain and indeed strengthen our position as the world's leading automotive engineering consultancy and sportscar manufacturer."
