Pacific Amusements 1933
Contact Junior is one of the first pinball machines to move the ball with electricity. In this case the only access to the high scoring holes in the game was by placing a ball at the entrance and then shooting yet another ball to a hole with an electrical contact. Making the contact move the placed ball into the high scoring area.
The restoration presented no interesting challenges other than cleaning. One of the leads to the old solenoid was broken and attaching a wire to it was difficult.
I wrote an early article about the play, restoration and a bit about the history. The game was boring and did not remain in my collection.
