Greasing and Oiling

Any piece of machinery requires occasional lubricating. Use a good grade of machine oil and apply sparingly. DONOT USE AN OIL CAN as you cannot regulate the flow. It is best to use a tapered stick or small screwdriver dipped in the oil so that only a drop at a time can be applied to the part. Use vaseline on all rubbing parts such as cams, chains, gears, motor cups, etc. It is not necessary to list each part that requires oiling, as one general rule can be observed-oil or grease any moving parts where friction might have a tendency to cause wear.

This is a temporary instruction sheet pending photographs and full repair parts catalog, which we hope to give you very soon but these instructions will be of priceless value to the operator who studies and masters them.
